Welcome to DjTAB.net, please feel free to have a good look around!

DjTAB has been a regular of London’s underground party circuit for a number of years, and has played alongside the likes of Jerome Hill, Colin Dale, Jonty Skrufff, J*Star and Saytek to name a few...

Good music is the driving force behind DjTAB, and he is just as happy playing Hip-hop as he is Drum ’n Bass, House, Techno or almost any other genre! You will find free mixes to download on the left of this page, and they will be updated regularly.

News Updates

DjTAB joins the digital age!

DjTAB Traktor Setup

I recently decided to join the digital age, and be able to have an almost limitless amount and range of music on me at any one time. So a shiny Macbook Pro and Traktor Scratch Pro are now the order of the day; now I can take up to four virtual decks and a dazzling array of digital effects to any party! Because I like to play vinyl, scratch and mess around I use the timecoded vinyl to keep me in touch with the Dj experience I initially fell in love with. It’s a really cool setup, great fun and intuitive to use; it also allows me to stay right up to date with the latest tunes, utilising digital promos released on the Internet weeks or months before vinyl....

Ooooh! - a new toy!

DjTAB has a KP3

Truly stumped I was as I tore off the paper of my Birthday present from the lovely Mrs TAB. Inside was a Korg Kaoss Pad 3, not at all what I expected! It calls itself a "Dynamic Effects Sampler" and so far all I can establish is that sound goes in, wizardry happens then lots more sound comes out again. It's great fun, and I figure I’m going to be learning how to use it properly for some time..... -Click the picture to be taken to a big version.

DjTAB’s Blog, soon come!

I’ve been using the blog function on Myspace for a while now, and it’s not really doing it for me any more. The purpose of this website is to document the experiences I have along the way, so I’ve decided to move my blog here as soon as I find a script I like the look of...

Thanks!

I should also say a big thankyou to HouseBreakin’ for providing an environment in which I could develop as a Dj, I’m sure that without them I wouldn't have got as far as I have. A big thanks as well for Richard AKA King-Kutz for designing my logo. More thanks go to Tendril for not only building this website, but also teaching me how to keep it updated!

Finally thanks to all the people who help organise and come to our parties, all those who tune into interFACE or who download the mixes we put up. This isn’t about money, (although a little would be nice!) it’s about doing something you love doing. It’s really cool to know there are people listening and enjoying what you do!
Peace
